Preap Sovath, born on January 25, 1975, in Kandal Province, Cambodia, is renowned for his contributions to Cambodian pop and rock music. He began his singing career in the early 1990s and has since become a celebrated figure in the Cambodian entertainment industry, also appearing in films such as "The Crocodile."
In recent years, Preap Sovath has continued to engage with contemporary music trends. In November 2022, he released a hip-hop song titled "Legend," reflecting on his journey to the top of the music industry and asserting his status as a leading artist in Cambodia.
